People now think that if someone does not act and look like her, then they are free of demon possessions. The problem with the movie is that it has thrown a stereotype into the minds of people, to think, “this is what someone looks and acts like when they are demon possessed”.
But I want to deal with the real issues, how it is in the real world concerning demon possessions. It was a movie of a young girl who was supposedly possessed by Satan, and her remedy was a so-called priest and holy water. Many people were amazed at all the creative make-up work and camera tricks of the movie. I remember in the 70s, there was a movie called the “Exorcist”. This knowledge will address how the unawareness of satanic or demonic possession is taking its toll on the church and around the world.
